Just 100 meters from the Charmey dairy, the L’Alpage cheese specialty restaurant selects its products directly at the source. The menu pays tribute to local traditions and regional flavors: moitié-moitié fondue (Gruyère and Vacherin PDO), Vacherin fondue, generous cheese and white wine crusts, cured meats and raclette. At the table, individual raclette ovens — used to heat an entire block of cheese just like in the old days by the fireplace — bring authenticity back to the plate. A few meringues with Gruyère double cream for dessert and a fine selection of Swiss wines to add color to the glasses: at L’Alpage, there is only one motto — indulgence.
